Monaco

Monaco is a small independent principality of Europe, with legislative authority shared by Prince Rainier III and the National Council.
It's famous for its casinos, and the prince's palace, but we chose to stroll the streets and hang out in the cafes.

Situated on the beautiful blue waters of the southern Mediterranean Sea, the coastline of Monaco is stacked with houses and resorts.

There are more elevators and stairs than roads in this small country.

Only 0.75 square miles in size, with a population of around 32,000, gives it one of the highest population densities in the world - ~42,000 people per square mile!

Europe seems to have no problems with dogs roaming public streets and restaurants.

Fresh markets are full with lots of good looking food!

and crowded streets are perfect for Europe's infamous Smart car.

There wasn't a harbor big enough for our ship, so they used tender ships to bring us back and forth.
