Ajaccio France

Ajaccio is on the southwestern side of the island of Corsica, France. It is the birthplace of Napoleon and a popular coastal resort for many visitors who come via ferry from France or Italy.

Much of the island has been set aside as National Preserve.

It has a population of about 60,000.

The rugged coastline is intermixed with perfect sandy beaches.

It is also econmically depressed. Most of its tourism has been ferries from France or Italy.
